Who is Ben Rush?

Ben is a creative scientist with too much curiosity and too little time. His research examining muscle health using medical imaging exposed him to many talented science communicators, which inspired him to create podcasts during his PhD program. Throughout the program and in all of his presentations, he brought his experience in improv and humor to engage and fully interact with audiences.

By day, Ben is a data scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison primarily working with John Garrett in the Department of Radiology and a Lecturer teaching improv in the Department of Medicine. By night, he leads Amalgam Improv and makes nut butters.
